(Thistle In the Garden Page? Perhaps it's for those Scottish Gardeners... Men in Kilts with Shovels and fertilizer?)
The national symbol of Scotland.
The thistle is a tough, strong, and robust plant. It grows in places where others can't survive. One finds it to be very beautiful yet discovers it's sharp thorns for protection. One might say beautiful but fierce.
To wear a thistle brings protection and inner strength and helps honor one's strong roots with pride.
