Pecans are one of America's unique abundant trees. They were originally found only in North America where pecans are the most popular tree nut. Native Americans planted the trees wherever they went and were often used as trade and food for the harvest months. When you come upon a pecan orchard you will find Orchard Orioles. In folk tales these colorful birds have always worked together with the pecans in harmony and balance. Pecans are strong in mythology bringing us continued Abundance and Prosperity.
